It entered in service in the Soviet Union Air Force in the early 80s. Thanks to its two Klimov RD-33 afterburning turbofan engines, the Fulcrum is able to reach the maximum speed of Mach 2.2. It is characterized by a very elegant and harmonious aerodynamic profile with a flat and wide fuselage and two vertical tail fins.
The MiG 29 is armed with a 30 mm. gun in the port wing root and it can adopt a wide variety of air-to-air missiles and the AA-8 “Aphid”, the AA-10 “Alamo” and the AA-11 “Archer”. It is widely used by the Russian Air Force and by the most part of Easter European Countries Air Forces.
Among the others it has been adopted by the Indian Air Force. Includes decals for 2 versions. Skill level 3.
